Recently I wrote a manifesto about what being a powerful woman meant to me.
As I wrote it, it got me thinking about all the powerful women I know stepping up to life in big ways. I knew what power meant to me but I wanted to hear their perspective and understand their experience of what got them where they are today.
The Powerful Woman Project is a means to tell their stories. To see inside the hearts, minds, and lives of women just like you and me, doing really inspiring things, while also coming against every day challenges.
I am so honored and excited to share the stories of six different women over the next several days. Women from different walks of life, impacting the world in many ways ranging from entrepreneurs, actors, coaches, photographers, healers, and teachers – many different perspectives on this idea of power.
BUT – mostly this project is for YOU. I hope these women’s stories will help motivate and inspire you to:
*Think bigger for yourself and your life.
*Start to really see the possibility in what you want.
*Believe that even if you feel a bit directionless, you’ve got the power within you to figure *it* out.
*Believe that if you don’t like the direction you are going in life, you can change it.
I hope their stories help you to keep aiming to be your best, to keep realizing how strong the human spirit is, and to take a stand for what you want in your life because that is power.
And I want to get you thinking and acting on it, which means of course, there is a CONTEST with PRIZES! YAY! 🙂
